WRM Partner Participates in Brooklyn Law School Career Panel
On November 18th, partner Olivera Medenica participated in a panel at Brooklyn Law School discussing careers in the fields of Intellectual Property. Olivera had the opportunity to reconnect with her alma mater and impart some of her experiences in her practice to some fresh-faced and promising law students.
WRM and NYCLA host Barbara Kolsun Kate Spade In House Counsel
On November 17th, partner Olivera Medenica, Co-Chair of NYCLA’s Entertainment and Media Committee, hosted a committee meeting featuring Barbara Kolsun, in-house counsel for Kate Spade. The topic of Fashion Law attracted numerous EMIPs members who had the opportunity to learn and hear from Ms. Kolsun’s experiences in the field of Intellectual Property and her fight against Counterfeit Goods. Members walked away with a breath of knowledge, both from the IP practitioner’s side as well as in-house counsel business perspective.

On November 11th, partner Olivera Medenica participated in a 3-hour Career Symposium held at Cardozo Law School discussing various aspect of practicing Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.
