WRM and NYCLA host Thomas Hall, Esq. of Fabiani & Cohen on Sports Agency Law

On May 19, 2004, WRM hosted the New York County Lawyers' Association Entertainment, Intellectual Propery and Sports Section (EMIPS) seminar on Sports Agenting. The guest speaker was Thomas Hall, Esq. of Fabiani & Cohen, General Counsel to North American Football League and Certified Sports Agent. The seminar dealt with the many legal issues confronting the often high stakes and highly competitive world of sports agenting, including the absence of cohesive state regulation and licensing.

WRM Partners Lecture at Dancespace

On May 25, 2004 WRM partners Olivera Medenica and Kaiser Wahab gave a lecture on the benefits of copyright registration at Dancespace. The lecture focused on the nature of copyright versus other forms of intellectual property, how it applies to various trades and industries, and how to register a work for protection.
